Disgrace as Obi wins Atiku in Adamawa polling unit

Following the announcement of the result, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), claimed victory in a polling unit located in Adamawa State, a region known to be the stronghold of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. At PU35, Karewa, Yola North LGA, Obi secured 120 votes, Atiku scored 82 votes, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Party’s presidential candidate, received 26 votes, and the NNPP’s presidential candidate garnered 2 votes.

Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar recorded an impressive win in his polling unit at Ajiya Ward, Old GRA, Jimeta, where the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Mohammed Bello, also voted. This win marked the first time since 2007, when he started seeking to be president, that Atiku won his unit. At his Ajiya Ward 012 unit, the PDP flagbearer secured 282 votes, while the APC candidate received 57 votes, the LP candidate got 6 votes, and the NNPP candidate received 1 vote.
