Enugu State voters are calling for an extension of the election due to the delayed arrival of materials and malfunctioning BVAS in their polling units. INEC officials arrived at some polling units at 12 noon with incorrect and non-functional BVAS.
Chibuzo Uzoenyi, one of the electorates at Michael Okpara Square, expressed his concern that INEC is attempting to rig the South East out of the election. He believes that it will be impossible for everyone at Okpara Square to vote unless the election is extended to the next day.
Uzoenyi appealed to INEC to allow Enugu residents to exercise their legitimate right to vote for their preferred candidate and ensure that their votes count.
